On November 22, Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Governor of the Province, met with Yan Shengjun, Chairman of China Tianying Inc. and his delegation. The two sides held a working meeting, during which they had in-depth exchanges on CNTY's rapid advancement of the integrated project that involves the green remediation of abandoned mine pits, wind and solar power generation, energy storage, and hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol production in Liaoyuan.
Since the signing of the investment cooperation framework agreement between CNTY and Liaoyuan City on October 19 this year, under the witness of Jilin Party Secretary Jing Junhai and Governor Hu Yuting, the project has been rapidly advancing forward under the superb leadership of and attention from the Provincial Party Committee and Government, as well as the strong support and guidance from the Municipal Party Committee and Government of Liaoyuan City.
During the meeting, Governor Hu Yuting, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and Government, welcomed Chairman Yan Shengjun and his delegation, and recognized CNTY's contribution to Jilin's revitalization. He noted that CNTY, as a large international company deeply engaged in environmental protection and new energy sectors, adheres to green development with impressive achievements. Leveraging on its favorable wind and solar power resources, Jilin Province has been accelerating key projects such as "Hydrogen-powered Jilin", with explosive growth expected in the new energy sector. Jilin is ready to provide strong policy support and sound services to facilitate CNTY's project in Liaoyuan, while expecting that Liaoyuan City and CNTY join forces to implement the project, and further deepen cooperation and expand investment in the fields of wind and solar power generation, gravity energy storage, hydrogen, ammonia and methanol production, and ecological remediation.
Chairman Yan Shengjun introduced CNTY's promising prospects in environmental protection and new energy, and reported on the project milestones achieved. He affirmed the extensive opportunities in Jilin's revitalization, and highlighted CNTY's strong industrial strengths, technical strengths and capital strengths in new energy. With its leading technologies in wind and solar power, coupled with gravity energy storage, to produce green hydrogen, ammonia and methanol, CNTY will make use of its advantages in global presence to expand overseas markets of green energy products. He affirmed that CNTY will push forward the implementation of the project with high quality and fast speed as per the expectations of Governor Hu Yuting, to make it a national demo, and continuously boost the upgrading of the new energy sector in Jilin.
This integrated project in Liaoyuan is an important manifestation of CNTY's dual-wheel strategy driven by "environmental protection + new energy". CNTY will capitalize on Liaoyuan’s abundant wind and solar resources to produce green hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol backed by world-leading gravity energy storage technologies. The project responds to the call of General Secretary Xi Jinping during a symposium on promoting the full revitalization of northeast China in the new era, and also aligns with the strategic requirements of "Hydrogen-powered Jilin" in the province. Taking this project as the step stone, CNTY will work closely with Jilin, and make its due contributions to the high-quality economic and social development in Jilin!
