On the 5th of September, China Tianying Inc. (CNTY) and SDIC Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (SDIC Power) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Liu Guofang, Vice President of CNTY, and Yu Haimiao, Vice General Manager of SDIC Power, signed the agreement on behalf of each party.
Based on the principle of "resource sharing, complementary advantages, mutual benefits and common development", the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of domestic and overseas clean energy development, low-carbon energy services, comprehensive environmental services and joint technological innovation.
In terms of clean energy development and services, the two sides will work together on the planning, development, construction and operation of domestic and overseas clean energy projects, and actively cooperate in fields of wind power, photovoltaic, gravity energy storage, waste-to-energy generation and integrated energy. In terms of technological innovation, the two sides will closely exchange and collaborate in areas such as energy storage technology, environmental protection technology, and carbon capture and storage technology.
SDIC Power is the power business investment platform controlled by State Development & Investment Corporation and the second Chinese company to be awarded the Green Economy Mark by the London Stock Exchange. Its business covers hydropower, thermal power, photovoltaic, wind power, energy storage, power sales and integrated energy services, and it is committed to promoting the synergistic development of energy storage, hydrogen energy and the integrated energy sector.

At the seminar before the signing ceremony, Yan Shengjun, Chairman of CNTY, expressed that CNTY hopes to develop a long-term cooperation mechanism with SDIC Power, and that CNTY will give full play to its experience and technical strength in the fields of wind and solar power, energy storage and waste disposal and utilization to integrate high-quality resources for the cooperation and contribute to the implementation of China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutral strategy.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement will help SDIC Power to further expand its clean energy business and improve the layout of comprehensive energy services, and will also prompt CNTY to further strengthen the foundation of new energy development, build a sustainable business growth model, and contribute to the comprehensive construction of a high-quality economic and social transformation in China.
